Hi Alex, I installed both eShop and WP e-commerce plugins and eShop seems to great if you are selling digital goods. I like WP e-commerce better, the admin panel is a lot more user friendly and has more options it seems and easy integration with PayPal. Again, I think these plugins work a lot better for a digital store. Since I sell clothes, I need to work on it some more when I have more time to get the look that I want. For now I think I will keep the store in zen-cart because the back end administration is excellent and I love the zen-cart template I used (from TM of course) which I then customized. I am not giving up on the plugins though just need more time to customize. I would definitely recommend WP e-commerce. I am going to use it for another site I have in mind.

It was very interesting article. One more thing that I would like to add in these steps and that is you need to never stop selling within the checkout process. You can influence trust by including trust badges or logos from supposed companies such as McAfee. Testimonial is also important because it supports people and persuades them to continue the checkout.
